Open Farm Day (July 24th, 10am-4pm)

Open Farm Day, Buy Local Week's feature event, is an opportunity to experience first hand the work that goes into the food we eat and the local products we consume. Open Farm Day will be held Saturday, July 24th from 10am to 4pm at 37 farms and 3 farmers' markets throughout Madison County.

Download your Open Farm Day Passport so you can take full advantage of the day. Don't forget to also download the Open Farm Day Map.

Passports will also be distributed at local Price Chopper grocery stores starting on July 9th and as inserts in the Hi, Neighbor and Mid-York weeklies.

FRESH! Gala (July 18th, 3pm)

The FRESH! Gala is a fundraising event that celebrates the diversity and vibrancy of Madison County agriculture. The Fresh! Gala will be held at Endless Trails Farm in Hubbardsville with local food prepared by Serendipity Catering, live music, a silent auction, and beer from the Empire Brewery made with Foothill Hops Farm hops. THIS EVENT HAS PASSED. THANKS TO EVERYONE WHO CAME OUT TO ENJOY THE FRESH! GALA.

Restaurant Showcase (July 19th-24th)

The Restaurant Showcase will highlight participating area restaurants and their uniquely created menus featuring locally grown foods. Check the Showcase list of restaurants and menus here. Then you'll be on your way to experiencing great food made by great chefs with ingredients grown, raised, and created by local farmers.
