Amanda Berning joined Korn Ferry in 2021 and serves as a Principal serving the Human Resources Practice. In this role, Amanda supports mid to senior level executives within the HR function including senior- level generalist and functional leaders in compensation, benefits, learning and development, talent management, DE&I and HRIS. Amanda partners with high-level talent for leading employers throughout the U.S.
Amanda brings over a decade of recruiting experience to Korn Ferry. She spent four years in Boston with a boutique, retained recruiting firm where supported executive hiring for the digital, software technology and financial services sectors. Amanda then worked in corporate talent acquisition for a Fortune 20 company in the life sciences sector where she was responsible for partnering with leaders to recruit director-to president-level hires globally throughout the company.
Most recently Amanda was a senior partner with another boutique search firm where she was focused on recruiting HR professionals for publicly traded high growth companies as well as private equity and employee-owned companies located predominately throughout the Midwest.
Amanda’s impeccable track record of success and her keen ability to assess talent make her one of the most sought after partners in the industry.
Amanda holds a Bachelor of Science degree from The Ohio State University. She is an active volunteer and fundraiser for The Dragonfly Foundation, a non-profit which supports pediatric cancer patients and their families.
