Committing to the core roots of recruiting early in his career, Andrew’s motivated initiative and resourcefulness quickly led him to success. It’s a business of people, not product. He was promoted twice in under three years, first to Senior Partner and then Executive Senior Partner. Andrew consistently ranked among the top 10 in the HR COE, and last year finished in the top 5. He has been recognized multiple times with multiple prestigious company awards.

Andrew has a strong executive network in human resources across the Western United States. Andrew is adept at providing impeccable career advice and sound business guidance to clients and candidates. He’s become a trusted resource to the professionals in his network. Andrew’s areas of expertise are the Technology, Startup, Media, Manufacturing, and Construction sectors and has placed strong HR leaders in top-seat positions.

A natural connector, Andrew leverages inherent skill at finding the right fit passive candidates and pairs like-minded clients and candidates together. He places strong HR talent to scale up companies, build up HR infrastructure, or upgrade HR teams.

Prior to joining Korn Ferry, Andrew worked in a non-profit placing military veterans into civilian careers. He also consulted as an Executive Coach and was a frequent speaker at conferences on the topics of LinkedIn. Earlier, Andrew worked for Wells Fargo for over 11 years. He served as Vice Chair of their National Diversity and Inclusion council for three years. Andrew is a son of a Korean father and German mother. His children are becoming fluent in Japanese since their mother is from Japan. Being multi-cultural and raising multi-cultural kids makes DEI an important topic for him.

He holds a Bachelor degree in Marketing from CSU Northridge. He is a certified Global Career Development Facilitator, with several training credentials. Andrew is a certified AIRS recruiter, a published author, and published artist. He is also recognized by LinkedIn as being in the top 1% of recruiters on LinkedIn.
