Based in Los Angeles, Chris Von Der Ahe is a Senior Client Partner, Consumer Markets for Korn Ferry with over two decades of experience conducting CEO, Board, and C-Suite assignments for Consumer and Retail clients. Mr. Von Der Ahe also serves as the Managing Partner of the Firm’s Southern California operations.
Mr. Von Der Ahe is a member of the Firm’s CEO and Board Services Practice and is a key leader in Korn Ferry’s Consumer Markets. He has a strong track record helping Boards and CEO’s manage leadership transitions, succession planning and senior level recruitment. He works with Fortune 500 Corporations as well as start-up and fast-growing companies.
Mr. Von Der Ahe’s client focus includes companies in the consumer food, durables, retail, and restaurant sectors. He is noted for his experience building longstanding client relationships. His commitment to quality led to being recognized with Korn Ferry’s Global Client Satisfaction Award. He serves his clients with deep knowledge and perspective of talent needs and organizational challenges.
Prior to joining Korn Ferry, he held several marketing and sales roles for the Xerox Corporation. He is an active participant in community affairs and serves on the Board of Directors of the Bachmann-Strauss Dystonia & Parkinson’s Foundation and served on the Board of Regents of Santa Clara University.
Mr. Von Der Ahe earned a master’s of business administration, and a bachelor’s in finance from Santa Clara University.
