Ms Gentela is a member of the Firm’s Life Sciences practice. She has extensive experience and track record of success while working with some of the well-regarded firms in the Life Sciences Sector. She developed this practice for India market, which involved taking major initiatives for its sustainable growth.
For over two decades, Ms. Gentela has partnered with Multinational as well as local Indian Organizations in the Life Sciences & HC Services Industry to build their leadership teams across the Pharmaceutical, Biotechnology, Medical Devices & Diagnostics, OTC, CRO, and Hospital Services organizations.
Over the years, she has worked with organizations to ensure that their talent acquisition strategies are aligned with their business strategies. This includes successfully placing Board of Directors, Chief Executive Officers, Senior Management, and functional leadership positions amongst others. She has also strengthened the practice by advising companies on C-level team composition.
Prior to joining Korn Ferry in 1999, Ms Gentela worked with CONSINDIA HR Services Private Ltd., a prominent local executive search firm in Mumbai. During this time, she executed a number of prestigious searches for Indian and multi-national firms. Ms Gentela holds both a bachelor’s and a master’s degree in pharmacy specializing in quality assurance from SNDT Women’s University, Mumbai, India.
