With more than two decades of executive search and healthcare experience, Mr. Button focuses on senior management search assignments for multi-site health care services companies, hospitals, integrated delivery networks, payers, health care technology companies, and pharmaceutical services organizations.
Prior to joining Korn Ferry in 1999, Mr. Button was vice president of business development for Group Practice Services Corporation, an Ancillary Service Management Company. Playing a pivotal role in building the foundation of the company, he developed and led a team of six regional vice presidents, growing annual revenue from start-up to over $10 million in three years.
Prior to this, Mr. Button was a general manager for HMSS/Coram Healthcare, a national provider of home infusion therapy, prescription benefit management/mail order pharmacy, birth care services, lithotripsy, physicians' services and disease specific cost containment programs. Mr. Button negotiated contracts with physician groups, hospitals and managed care organizations and was responsible for the daily management of nursing, pharmacy, reimbursement and sales departments. Mr. Button previously served as a regional sales manager and trainer for Intravenous Home Care and Health Infusion.
Mr. Button holds a master's degree in business administration with honors from Temple University in Philadelphia, as well as a bachelor's degree in psychology from Gettysburg College in Gettysburg, Pennsylvania.
