Kim Van Der Zon and Claudia Pici-Morris join Korn Ferry’s Board and CEO Succession Practice

Los Angeles – April 17, 2024 – Korn Ferry (NYSE: KFY) today announced that Kim Van Der Zon and Claudia Pici-Morris have joined the firm’s Board and CEO Succession practice.

Van Der Zon and Pici-Morris are joining to formally establish the firm’s Board Succession Center of Excellence, continuing Korn Ferry’s commitment to leadership impact in the boardroom.

Throughout her career, Van Der Zon has focused on providing strategic guidance to boards and CEOs globally. She is a trusted advisor and practice leader to whom boards regularly turn for wise counsel given her proven track record of elevating business outcomes.

Van Der Zon’s experience includes over 20 years with two leading global executive search firms where she earned accolades for her contributions to governance and boardroom effectiveness, as well as CEO succession. Named one of the 50 Most Influential People in Governance by NACD/Directorship for multiple years, she has also played a pivotal role in initiatives focused on enhancing boardroom diversity. She earned an MBA in finance and marketing from the University of Toronto. 

Pici-Morris is recognized as an innovative practice builder and an influential force in scaling centers of excellence within organizations. Her expertise extends over a wide range of areas, including board director recruitment, board succession planning, CEO succession, and board effectiveness.

In previous roles, Pici-Morris has conducted more than 1,000 board director searches and governance consulting engagements.  As a strategic advisor, she founded and led high impact governance chair networks, where she helped board leaders share and stay ahead of business and governance trends. Additionally, she is a recognized thought-leader having authored several publications on board composition and effectiveness. She has a master's degree from Columbia University and a bachelor’s degree in philosophy from Fordham University.
