Matt is an experienced leader and leadership advisor with expertise in executive assessment and coaching.
Prior to joining Korn Ferry, Matt was Global Head of Executive Assessment at Goldman Sachs. Here, he led teams of advisors to identify, calibrate and close professional development needs across the firm’s Partners and Managing Directors. As a senior executive coach, Matt accelerated the professional growth of his clients at pivotal moments in their careers including joining the firm, undergoing role transitions, and taking on strategic challenges.
In his recent career, Matt was a Director at a global leadership advisory firm. He worked with clients from a range of industries to make successful hiring and succession decisions.
Here, Matt also established and led a global leadership analytics function, helping clients to understand systemic leadership challenges and surmount them using digital tools.
Before he followed his passion for psychology into leadership development, Matt’s early career was in supply chain management. He specialised in demand forecasting and sales & operational planning for FMCG organisations Innocent Drinks, L'Oréal and Danone.
Matt graduated from Cambridge University with a First Class Honours Degree in Experimental Psychology and from University of London with a Masters with Distinction in Occupational Psychology. He is a member of the British Psychological Society and accredited on the Register of Qualifications in Test Use; an experienced practitioner of psychometrics including Hogan HPI, HDS, MVPI, FIRO-B and MBTI. He is a Trustee of Steps Worldwide, the leading charity for those affected by childhood lower limb conditions.
