Chief Operating Officer, Interim Professional
In his role as COO for Interim Professional, Michael works closely with the CEO and is responsible for creating and executing overall company strategy, all management activities and business operations, new offerings, and national industry expansions.
As a leader of Interim Professional in North America, Michael directs a highly productive team focused on delivering clients the talent acquisition needs they require for interim and contract solutions.
Mr. Parbs brings with him three decades of experience in the recruitment field. Prior to joining the Korn Ferry team, Michael held senior leadership positions at top staffing firms like Adecco, Randstad, and Recruit where he oversaw the daily operations of large businesses that provide professional staffing services.
During his thirty years in the industry, Michael has won numerous awards and recognition for leadership, branch success, group sales and profit growth, and personal sales contributions. He has gained an immense amount of expertise in a staggering variety of recruiting and staffing disciplines, including but not limited to the following: information technology, creative, accounting and finance, legal, engineering and manufacturing, sales and marketing, human resources, and compliance. Michael has managed and built new business in every major region of the United States.
Michael earned his Bachelor of Arts degree from DePauw University in Greencastle, IN. He is happily married with two children. He is an avid Chicago sports fan, and enjoys playing golf, tennis, and pickleball in his spare time.
