Nick has driven awareness of the contracting business, with specific focus in the accounting & finance, and HR functional fields. His teams has driven over a thousand new opportunities for consultants each year and delivered value to Salo’s clients across the country.

Nick’s career embodies the maxim, “success comes from helping others succeed”. Since joining Salo in 2010, Nick has had the privilege of helping countless professionals find renewed career satisfaction through consulting—while simultaneously ensuring client organizations get the expert consulting help they need. He has also worked with many accounting & finance, and HR professionals as they have pivoted their career to business development from their functional field.

Prior to joining Salo, a Korn Ferry Company, Nick spent 7 years at Deloitte where he was a Manager in their Audit and Advisory practice. Nick served many of Deloitte’s largest clients through his time there, including being selected to lead a critical assignment with the Department of the Navy’s Pacific Fleet operations at Pearl Harbor.

Nick received his bachelor of accountancy from the University of the North Dakota. He is a CPA (inactive) and also serves on the board of the Boys & Girls Club in the Twin Cities. He has also served on the FINACA board as their membership chair.
