In this capacity he works across all KF capabilities: Organizational Strategy, Total Rewards, Assessment & Succession, Talent Acquisition, and Leadership & Professional Development. Samir is also a member of the Korn Ferry Global Steering Committee for Leadership Development Outsourcing (LDO).

A serial entrepreneur and business advisor, Samir brings cross-functional experience from diverse industries having held senior roles at international corporations as well as founding more than 15 companies on three continents. Through his +25-year career Samir has primarily been engaged in Saudi Arabia, of which he is a national, and Sweden, where he was born. He has been active in the Biotech, Defense, Education, Music, Professional Services, Publishing, Software and VC industries.

Before joining Korn Ferry, Samir was Head of Diagnostics at a Swedish biotech tools company which he had previously co-founded and advised through an MBO and IPO. After a 12- year operational hiatus, he re-joined the company in 2020 to develop improved diagnostic tools in response to the Coronavirus pandemic.

Prior to this endeavor, Samir was active in Saudi Arabia for 10 years, first as Senior Advisor to the world's largest private education company, followed by roles at a leading US defense contractor and their Saudi JV. He has also served as an elected Executive Committee member of the Saudi-Swedish Joint Business Council where he led the sub-committee for Education & Training.

Samir is a graduate of Georgetown University School of Business with a degree in International Management. He is an avid golfer and fan of thoroughbred racing.
