As Regional Head, Sonamara Jeffreys is responsible for overseeing the strategy and operations of Korn Ferry across Europe, Middle East and Africa.  She is a member of the Global Financial Services Market and with over twenty-five years in global executive search and leadership advisory has had the opportunity to work with many major Financial companies.  Sonamara is both a trusted recruiter and advisor to numerous CEOs, Boards and business leaders across EMEA.

Sonamara joined Korn Ferry in 2010 as a Senior Client Partner in the Banking & Capital Markets team and in 2011 was appointed Regional Leader for Financial Services in EMEA. Between 2012 and 2020 she also served as the UK Managing Director.

Prior to joining Korn Ferry Sonamara was the UK Office Managing Partner for another leading search firm, and prior to that she was Head of Financial Services for Europe, Middle East & Africa. She began her career in executive search in 1992, joining a financial services executive search boutique where she focused on investment banking and capital markets, having spent her earlier career in television.

Sonamara graduated with a Master of Arts degree in history and French from the University of Edinburgh.
